My Ikea Millberget was still in good nick after 3 years daily use, but the gas lift had become leaky, and the chair kept dropping. Rather than bin, I bought this replacement lift, and with the supplied tool was able to quickly restore the chair to full function. The replacement is 1/2 inch taller, but this is a plus.
I bought a new Gaming / Office chair but found that the included 7" Lift was not high enough for me. So after lots of Research i came across the ChairClinic, I had a chat with Adrian who gave me some advice which led me to buy the 9" lift instead of the 11" lift i was looking at. 2 Days later it was delivered and using the instructions provided on the website my new lift was installed in under 10 minutes and I can sit at my desk at a better height and not get pains in my shoulders and arms. Delivered overnight and fitted in about 15 minutes. Why throw away a perfectly good office chair for the sake of 30 quid? Very pleased all round
